Ms Ada completed her Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy (now known as Diploma in Oral Health Therapy) and graduated as an Oral Health Therapist from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2016.
She worked as a Dental Therapist for almost 5 years with School Dental Service, Health Promotion Board. There she provided dental services to school-aged children. She saw students from all ages from preschool up till post-secondary. She also has experience with special needs children. After that, she went on to work at a private practice as a Dental Hygienist, seeing a wider range of patients.
Providing gum treatment, doing regular dental maintenance, dental photography as well as working with dentists who specialise in orthodontic treatment such as braces and Invisalign. Ms Ada is also the Vice-Chairperson of Project Gigi Guardians, an Overseas CIP program aimed at providing free dental treatment to the less privileged in Bintan, Indonesia. She believes that everyone should have access to dental care, even the less privileged.

Why did you become a dentist/hygienist?
The interest started from when I was still in kindergarten after my first dental visit. The dentist that attended to me made my first dental visit so memorable and enjoyable that I kept begging my mom to go to the clinic again.
What do you do in your free time?
When I have free time, I usually spend it with my family and friends. Love spending time with my husband and baby boy. I also love to cook (fusion food) when I have the time or when my family and friends request for it.
What do you like most about your job?
When I am able to make my patients love coming for dental appointments with me! Especially if they have dental anxiety or phobia. I will try my best to change their mindset and make their appointments an enjoyable and memorable one.
